SUMMARY:FDOT Tentative Five-Year Work Program Virtual Public Hearing
DESCRIPTION:The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a virtual public hearing regarding the Tentative Five-Year Work Program for fiscal years 2023/2024 through 2027/2028\, beginning Monday\, December 5\, and ending Friday\, December 9.  \nThe purpose of the tentative work program is to provide direction on where and when to build transportation system improvements across all modes of transportation – road\, bicycle\, pedestrian\, freight\, trails\, transit\, aviation\, seaports\, and spaceports. \nThis tentative work program provides proposed transportation projects for the nine counties that form FDOT District Five: Brevard\, Flagler\, Lake\, Marion\, Orange\, Osceola\, Seminole\, Sumter\, and Volusia. Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise projects are also included in the work program. \nThe public hearing is being held to present information and receive community feedback. FDOT offers both virtual and in-person participation. \n• Virtual Option:  This online hearing will be open and available 24 hours a day from Monday\, December 5\, to Friday\, December 9\, for participants to view and comment on project information at FDOT.gov/WPPH/District5. \n• In-Person Open House Option: Participants may attend an in-person open house on Tuesday\, December 6\, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the FDOT District Five Office\,  719 South Woodland Boulevard\, DeLand\, FL 32720. \n• In-Person Appointment: FDOT representatives are available during this week at the FDOT District Five Office\,  719 South Woodland Boulevard\, DeLand\, FL 32720. You can schedule a meeting at the district office by contacting  Katherine Alexander-Corbin\, at 386-943-5168 or by email to D5-WPPH@dot.state.fl.us. \nComments can be made through the website at FDOT.gov/WPPH/District5 by clicking the “Comment” button. While comments about the tentative work program are accepted at any time\, please send your comments by Friday\, December 23\, to be included in the records for this public hearing. \n• In-Person Appointment: FDOT representatives are available at the FDOT District Five Office\, 719 South Woodland Boulevard\, DeLand\, FL 32720.
