SUMMARY:2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan Summit
DESCRIPTION:The 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (2050 MTP or 2050 Plan) establishes the vision of Central Florida’s transportation system for Orange\, Osceola\, and Seminole Counties. The 2050 Plan will examine the current transportation system\, establish goals and objectives\, and gather public input to support a thorough technical analysis. The technical work\, including performance measures\, will be used to evaluate needs and look at various future trends that might affect the transportation system. \nThis 2050 MTP Summit will bring together the MetroPlan Orlando Board and its Advisory Committees for a joint discussion regarding the 2050 Plan’s development. The Summit will focus on evaluating draft funding scenarios and their potential impacts to transportation in Central Florida. The MetroPlan Orlando Board and Advisory Committee members will provide feedback on and recommendations to refine the funding scenario options\, as we work to build consensus on a shared vision for regional transportation. \nTo learn more about the 2050 MTP and how you can get involved\, visit MetroPlanOrlando.org/2050. \nThis is an in-person meeting only. \n
