SUMMARY:TAC Workshop for Regional Active Transportation Plan (Pedestrian & Bicycle Master Plan)
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is targeted for local government planners/engineers and will include members from MetroPlan Orlando’s Technical and Transportation Systems Management and Operations Advisory Committees. The Active Transportation Plan will identify bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure needs throughout Orange\, Osceola\, and Seminole counties through the year 2050 – the results of which will be incorporated into future MetroPlan Orlando planning documents. This open-house style workshop will provide an initial opportunity for local agency partners to review regional bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure needs in Orange\, Osceola\, and Seminole Counties. Attendees will also be able to provide feedback and insights on locally funded bicycle and pedestrian plans\, projects\, and initiatives. \nThis meeting is being posted in accordance with Florida’s Government in the Sunshine laws\, because two or more MetroPlan Orlando board or committee members will be present.
