DESCRIPTION:Every week in Central Florida\, 5 people are killed and another 35 people are seriously injured in traffic crashes on our roads. We know how to reduce the frequency and severity of crashes that result in death or severe injury. The harder question is how to get the public to care\, understand\, and change what they do. History shows it can be done. Seat belt use and smoking rates didn’t shift because of a single ad. They shifted because messages were clear\, human\, and repeated over years.
