Getting to Zero
MetroPlan Orlando envisions a world where there are zero deaths and serious injuries on Central Florida’s transportation system. Working toward zero requires a comprehensive effort called the safe system approach. Since transportation doesn’t stop at county or city lines, coordination is key across state and local roads. We must also work with partners outside of the transportation industry, such as first responders, emergency management officials, healthcare professionals, and educational organizations. Safety is our top priority.
