The Community Advisory Committee ensures the public has the opportunity to review and evaluate all proposed transportation plans and programs. About half the Community Advisory Committee members are appointed by local governments, and the other half by the MetroPlan Orlando Board. The committee membership includes multimodal transportation advocates, as well as representatives from under-served communities and business interests. This composition encourages diversity of many kinds, including geographic, demographic and modal.
