Webinar Speakers
Lara Bouck, PE, AICP (Manager of Project Development @MetroPlan Orlando)
Lara serves as Manager of Project Development for MetroPlan Orlando and is driving change in Central Florida to improve safety outcomes for all road users. With over 20 years of engineering and planning experience, she brings a unique perspective to projects, including an understanding of the big picture process of how projects get funded and incorporated into the work program, as well as design and operational details that help improve the overall quality of projects as they move forward to design and construction.
She is also the Vice President of Continuing Education for the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association and an active member of other local professional organizations, helping to inspire the next generation of engineers and planners.
Clint Sandusky (Instructor @Cycling Savvy)
Clint Sandusky is a CyclingSavvy Instructor candidate and certified Cycling in Traffic Expert. He retired in 2016 after a 24-year career in law enforcement with both the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Riverside Community College District Police. He was a Bike Patrol Instructor and member of the International Police Mountain Bike Association, where he served as an instructor and member of the E-Bike Task Force.
Clint owns two electric bicycles and uses them to run errands, commute, race, teach, and patrol. In his retirement he has moved from California to Idaho, but continues to collaborate with organizations such as the Automobile Club of Southern California, the California Highway Patrol, the California Office of Traffic Safety, and the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, and he’s still a district representative for the California Association of Bicycling Organizations.
Angelica Rocha (Transportation Planner @Fehr and Peers)
Angelica is a transportation planner with 9 years of planning experience; including five years focused exclusively on transportation, following her start in a different planning discipline. She specializes in complete streets planning, multi-modal safety, creative public outreach, and visual communications.
As an active transportation and public transit user, Angelica centers improving the lives and safety of all road users into every project. This user-experience approach helps her deliver transportation plans that outline a community vision that are safe, efficient, and focused on implementation. She has helped agencies in California, Florida, and Hawaii institutionalize safety, and is an active member of the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) Policy Committee’s E-Bikes and Vision Zero Subcommittees.
