2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan Public Meeting

September 29 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP or 2050 Plan) establishes the vision of Central Florida’s entire transportation system for Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties. This plan for the year 2050 identifies current and future transportation needs. Projects must be included in the plan to receive federal and state funding. The plan is updated every five years to reflect the changing dynamics of the region.

The 2050 MTP Public Meeting will help attendees understand aspects of the 2050 Plan’s development. These include examining the current transportation system, establishing goals and objectives, gathering public input, and technical analyses used to evaluate needs and look at future trends that might affect the transportation system. Information will also be available on the coordination process with local government and transportation operating partners to establish a funding policy and cost feasible plan for improvements spanning the next 25 years. This will be an open-house style meeting where attendees can talk directly with the MTP Team, ask questions, and provide comments on the plan.

If you cannot attend this in-person Public Meeting, please sign-up to the 2050 MTP E-Mail list, so that you can be notified when the public meeting content has been published for online/virtual viewing and comment. You can sign-up for the e-mail list and learn more about the 2050 MTP by visiting MetroPlanOrlando.gov/2050.
