READ AND COMMENT ON PROPOSED REVISIONS TO 2045 PLAN BY JUNE 10

The MetroPlan Orlando Board will consider amending the region’s 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan at its June 12 meeting, and members of the public are invited to share their opinions.
The changes include complete streets project phasing, incorporating new discretionary funding grants, an addition of a proposed trail need, and other miscellaneous changes based on local agency feedback. A summary of the proposed revisions can be found here.
The proposed amendments will be presented to MetroPlan Orlando’s advisory committees in the months of May and June 2024.

If you want to make a comment, you can send an email to MTP@metroplanorlando.gov by June 10 or make a comment in-person at the MetroPlan Orlando Board meeting on June 12, 2024 at 9 a.m. Public comment can also be made virtually during the public comment portion of the meeting. The 2045 Plan is a working document, and changes are occasionally included by making amendments or modifications. An amendment is a change made to the plan that involves major revision such as additional revenue being available to advance projects, major change in design concept or scope or increase in project costs.
