Read And Comment On The Proposed Revision To 2050 Plan By March 10

The MetroPlan Orlando Board will consider amending the region’s 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (2050 Plan or MTP) at its March 11 meeting, and we want to know your thoughts.

The 2050 Plan is a working document, and changes are occasionally incorporated through amendments or modifications. They are usually revisions like additional revenue, a major change in design concept or scope, or an increase in project costs.

This amendment will be reflected in Chapter 19: Cost Feasible Plan component of the adopted 2050 MTP. It will add funding to the design phase of SR 60 from Prairie Lake Rd to SR 91/Florida’s Turnpike.

The proposed amendment will be presented to MetroPlan Orlando’s advisory committees in the months of February and March 2026.

If you would like to comment on the proposed revision to the 2050 Plan, you can send an email to MTP@metroplanorlando.gov by March 10, 2026, or you can make a live comment at the MetroPlan Orlando Board meeting on March 11, 2026 at 9 a.m. Public comment at the board meeting can be made in person or virtually.
