Slideshow of Transportation Leaders and Inventors Celebrates African-American History Month

February’s MetroPlan Orlando Board meeting featured a slideshow of some of the noteworthy African-Americans who have contributed to the transportation industry through their leadership or creativity. The slides, assembled by the Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida, celebrate a long legacy of inventions, leadership and invention.
