MetroPlan Orlando Board Approves $5.4B 5-Year Plan

The Transportation Improvement Program includes more than 200 federal, state, and Turnpike funded projects in Central Florida.
Today the MetroPlan Orlando Board unanimously approved the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for fiscal years 2024/25-2028/29 including projects in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. The plan is updated each year to show how transportation funds are spent in the region. Browse the Transportation Improvement Program here:

The Transportation Improvement Program contains various types of projects, such as road, bicycle, pedestrian, bus, rail, and technology projects. Highlights from federal and state funded categories include:

To see what transportation projects are planned near you, visit our new TIP online viewer at https://metroplanorlando.gov/tipmap. Once you pull the viewer up, you can use the navigation at the top right of the screen to search by:
- Interactive Map – Zoom in to your neighborhood and click any line on the map for more project information
- Projects – If you’re interested in a specific project, you can search by project name or project type. When you click on a project, a separate window will open with the full project description and funding breakdown. You can also submit comments using the comment link in the top right corner of the project window.
- Projects by County – Select the box for your county of interest
- Plan Revisions – Search for specific TIP amendments or modifications
