READ AND COMMENT ON PROPOSED REVISIONS TO 2045 PLAN BY FEB. 12

The MetroPlan Orlando Board will consider amending the region’s 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan at its February 14 meeting, and members of the public are invited to comment on the proposed plan revisions.

The proposed revisions also will be presented to MetroPlan Orlando’s advisory committees in the months of January and February 2024. Changes to the plan: Inclusion of three projects which have received advanced construction funding through the Moving Florida Forward Infrastructure Initiative. These are: I-4 from west of CR 532 to east of CR 522 (Osceola Pkwy); I-4 from west of US 27 to the Polk/Osceola County Line; I-4 from Osceola/Orange County Line to east of SR 536.

The 2045 Plan is a working document, and changes are occasionally included by making amendments or modifications. An amendment is a change made to the plan that involves major revision such as additional revenue being available to advance projects, major change in design concept or scope or increase in project costs.
