Are you ready to see the world through new eyes?

Join MetroPlan Orlando, the City of Winter Park, and our partners for the annual Blind Experience on October 15, 2026, from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market Venue, 200 W New England Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789.

Walk in the shoes of our blind and visually impaired neighbors by taking part in this effort to increase knowledge of the White Cane Law and to promote pedestrian safety. RSVP today to save your spot.

What is the White Cane Law?

Whenever a pedestrian using a guide dog or a white cane attempts to cross the street, drivers must come to a full stop before proceeding. Through the Blind Experience, we will raise awareness of the law while also experiencing what it’s like to navigate as a blind or visually impaired person.
