Join Us Oct. 14 for a Discussion on Scooters, E-Bikes & Safety
Posted on: October 3, 2025 in Public Involvement, Safety
This webinar will give you tips and information. Come with questions for our experts.
They’re everywhere – electric scooters and e-bikes.
They’re known as electric micromobility devices or e-micromobility. As their use has exploded — through shared e-scooter and e-bike fleets, and personally owned e-micromobility devices of all sorts — communities across the country are planning and adapting.
At our next Vision Zero Safety Speakers webinar, we’ll talk about current issues, policy guidance, and best safety practices for e-micromobility users. Panelists will share trends and how communities are rethinking policies and designs to safely accommodate these devices.
The webinar will be Tuesday, October 14, 12-1:15 p.m. Registration is free.
Register here to reserve your place and submit questions for our experts.
Panelists are: Lara Bouck, MetroPlan Orlando; Angelica Rocha, Fehr & Peers; and Clint Sandusky, of Cycling Savvy, who will share safety tips for e-micromobility users and for those sharing the road with them. After the presentations, panelists will participate in a discussion and answer questions from attendees.
If you own or use an e-micromobility device, you’ll want to join us for this session. And if you are a transportation professional interested in this travel trend, you will get a wealth of useful information.
The webinar is eligible for 1 AICP CM credit. Event # 9318544
