Public Involvement Plan Is Approved for the 2040 Long Range Plan

Getting citizen views on transportation needs in the year 2040 is now officially under way at MetroPlan Orlando. The Public Involvement Plan for the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) was adopted at the January 9, 2013, meeting of the MetroPlan Orlando Board.
The Public Involvement Plan will provide the framework for Central Florida residents to help shape transportation policy for the next generation. Opportunities for citizens to get involved will include:
- Community Conversations with groups and organizations
- Surveys at community and special events
- A future interactive Town Call public meeting
- Videotaped comments via the Transportation Plan Cam
