Transportation Improvement Program Available for Comment Until July 6

The public can comment on MetroPlan Orlando’s five-year plan, even though the public hearing is over. Transportation Improvement Program maps and the draft documents are available for review through July 6:
At the time of posting, a draft plan was available for comment. The plan since has been approved by the MetroPlan Orlando Board. Read the approved plan here.
A public hearing was held on MetroPlan Orlando’s five-year plan, the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) on Monday, June 22. The plans includes transportation projects in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties and will be submitted for board approval on July 8.
The TIP includes all the federal and state funded highway, bicycle and pedestrian, transit, transportation disadvantaged, and aviation projects that are scheduled for implementation over the next five years. Some locally funded projects are also included for information purposes.
Public comments can be submitted in writing via email (info@metroplanorlando.com) or postal mail to the address below. To be included in the official record, comments must be submitted by July 6. All comments will be submitted to the MetroPlan Orlando Board before its vote on the draft plan at the board meeting on July 8 at 9 a.m.
